Acceptable Use Policy

1. Permitted use
uf2.net is intended for legitimate URL shortening by bots, automation pipelines, and engineers. You may use the service to:
- Shorten URLs for programmatic sharing in scripts, bots, and LLM tool outputs
- Create memorable slugs for project links, documentation, or resources
- Integrate URL shortening into developer workflows and automation
2. Prohibited destinations
You may not create short links that redirect to:
- Malware, ransomware, spyware, or any malicious software
- Phishing pages or credential-harvesting sites
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any illegal content involving minors
- Content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
- Sites engaging in fraud, scams, or deceptive practices
- Spam or unsolicited bulk messaging campaigns
- Content that is illegal in the jurisdiction of the service operator
3. Prohibited conduct
- Abusing the registration system to create accounts in bulk for spamming or bypassing rate limits
- Attempting to enumerate, scrape, or harvest the short-link namespace
- Using the service to obscure the true destination of a link to deceive end users
- Conducting denial-of-service attacks against the service or its infrastructure
- Attempting to access admin endpoints without authorization
4. Account responsibility
You are responsible for all links created with your API key. If your key is compromised, notify us immediately and rotate it by registering a new account.
5. Enforcement
Violations of this policy may result in:
- Immediate removal of the offending short link(s)
- Suspension or permanent termination of your account
- Reporting to law enforcement where required by law
We reserve the right to remove any link or account at our sole discretion, without prior notice.
